AROSA's product range includes more than 4,500 SKUs – these are almost all product groups used in the HoReCa segment, including specialized ones, for example, for Japanese or Italian cuisine. The company delivers 350,000 orders annually, performing a wide range of logistics operations during the processing and delivery of goods. In addition to providing supplier services for HoReCa, this allows to provide high-quality logistics services for PL customers. There are more than 100 multi–temperature cars in our own fleet.

To work with the HoReCa business segment, precise control of goods with remaining shelf life, quality and speed of work with orders, accurate accounting algorithms, and work with a wide range of products in various temperature conditions are important. Due to the growing volumes, the company's top-management decided to implement a high-performance TopLog WMS system. Toplog company was chosen as the executor of the project.

The Class A warehouse complex in St. Petersburg, with an area of 20,000 sq. m, became a pilot automation object. The total range of products is approximately 2,000 SKU. The warehouse works daily, processing about 2,000 order lines per day.

During the implementation, the automation of all major warehouse processes and functional areas was reconfigured. At the same time, the integrator took into account the algorithms of the old system, implemented taking into account the specifics of the business, in order to make a "friendly" transition to the new WMS.

Special attention in the WMS settings is paid to working with the quality of the product at all stages. The control of the remaining shelf life of the incoming product as a percentage has been implemented, but at the same time it is possible to send a "manual" request to the manager in the CIS. Diversified strategies for working with various storage accounting groups by temperature ("dry", "frost", "cold", "perishability"). Batch accounting is set up, the rotation of products with an expiration date is carried out according to the principles of FEFO (First Expire, First Out), BD (Best Before Day). Each temperature mode has its own selection settings. For example, when receiving information from the CIS on the delivery of orders to customers, WMS organizes the selection and then placement of items according to the depth of the vehicle body in the order of unloading when traveling along the route

Integration with the 1C: Trade Management client's accounting system is implemented through the TopLog API module built into the basic functionality of the system.

To increase the productivity of warehouse employees and reduce errors caused by the "human factor", additional modules "Billing" and "Staff motivation" have been configured. The TopLog WMS system implements a full-fledged mechanism for automatically calculating the premium part or piece-rate salary of warehouse employees based on the results of their work. The system takes into account every action of an employee with a personal TSD. For any period, you can calculate the number of completed works, the time of completion (during working hours, weekends, overtime), downtime, and apply different tariffs taking into account the complexity of processing various categories of goods. Integration with AROSA's own warehouse yard management system has also been completed.

The TopLog WMS warehouse management system has made it possible to increase the accuracy and speed of all warehouse operations, reduce the likelihood of errors during picking. The company's management received accurate and transparent tools for "online" monitoring of warehouse processes and access to an extensive reporting system generated in WMS. In the near future, next step is to automate the functions of 3PL, as well as replicate the WMS solution to the AROSA distribution warehouse complex in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Krasnodar.
